[ What is AS 9100? ]
AS 9100 is a quality management system certification service that stipulates additional requirements and defense industries based on ISO 9001. AS 9100 provides the basis for the safety and stability of products and compliance with relevant requirements for organizations related to the aerospace, aerospace, and defense industries.
AS 9100 is a standard applicable to the entire supply chain, not limited to organizations that manufacture products for the aerospace and defense industries. It is also applicable to equipment design and manufacturing, airports and airlines, supply and maintenance, aviation operations, and logistics operations of components.

The International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) was established to implement initiatives to significantly improve quality and reduce costs throughout the organization's Value Stream and developed the AS 9100 standard.
