[ Introduction ISO 23412:2020 ]

ISO 23412:2020 provides international standards for rapidly increasing refrigeration and frozen delivery worldwide to help food producers and sellers expand their sales base and achieve sustainable development goals.

The need for new food safety and refrigerated transport standards is emerging to address the specificity of temperature-controlled logistics as there are specific standards for temperature sensitivity and food safety of transportation products.

Therefore, ISO 23412:2020 presents requirements to increase the quality and consistency of refrigerated delivery services when refrigerated delivery service providers send or receive parcels.

In addition, we aim to provide guidelines for refrigerated delivery service providers to support consumer safety through comprehensive control over cold chains.

ISO 23412:2020 can improve consumer confidence in refrigerant use and help consumers make more informed choices when choosing refrigerated delivery services.
