[ How to use the Certification Mark accordance with ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 ]

IGC has established related procedures in accordance with ISO/IEC 17021-1, and the related contents are as follows :

• •  8.3.1 : Certification marks shall not be used on a product nor product packaging nor in any other way that may be interpreted as denoting product conformity.
• •  8.3.2 : Certification marks shall not applied by certified clients to laboratory test, calibration or inspection reports or certificates.

The certified client shall write the wording that the management system has been certified according to the requirements below when writing on the product packaging or attached information.

However, type labels or identification plates are considered part of the product, so it is impossible to describe them.

• -  The identification information of the certified client must be included (ex. brand or company name)
• -  Management system type (ex. Quality, Environment) and corresponding standards
• -  The certification body that issued the certificate

• •  8.3.3 : If client use of any statement on 1) product packaging or 2) in accompanying information that the certified client has a certified management system, the statement shall include reference to:

• -  identification (e.g. brand or name) of the certified client;
• -  the type of management system (e.g. quality, environment) and the applicable standard (e.g. ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015);
• -  the certification body issuing the certificate. (IGC)
• **    Type labels or identification plates are considered as part of the product.
• **    The statement shall in no way imply that the product, process or service is certified

[ IGC Logo and Certification Mark ]

IGC logo is not a certification mark and cannot be used by clients for any purpose. Clients cannot process and use a certification mark other than the method provided by IGC.

If a certification mark is required, we will provide a usable certification mark.

[ Certification Mark Precautions for use ]

• •  Use certification mark only when the status of certificate is valid.
• •  The certification mark must be used within the certified scope.
• •  The use of certification marks in a misleading manner, such as that the IGC has certified a client's product or process, is strictly prohibited.
• •  Certification marks other than those provided by IGC cannot be used.
• •  Cannot use misleading expressions regarding certification.
• •  If the certification is suspended or withdrawn, you cannot use promotional materials including the certification mark.

As above, IGC may take proper action such as correction, suspension, or withdrawal of certification, if the client misuses the certification mark. In addition, IGC may take legal action when IGC fails to resolve the dispute with the client.
