ISO 26000:2010 Guidance on social responsibility

[ ISO 26000:2010 Introduction ]

The modern organization continues to evolve, and the conditions necessary for the long-term success of the organization in this society include factors such as the organization's operation and financial status, and the capabilities of its members, also included the organization's activities to contribute to the operation of a healthy society.

Based on this, awareness of society and the environment increases along with the development of the organization, which falls under ‘organizational social responsibility’ and is recognized as an essential condition for the success of modern organizations.

ISO 26000:2010 is a guideline that does not fall under the standards that can be issued for certification. It is used as a guideline for the social responsibility of an organization that contributes to sustainable development regardless of the size of the organization and provides information on the basic principles of social responsibility.

In addition, this guideline is not limited to doing what is right for our society but is being used as a guideline to evaluate the organization's efforts to achieve sustainability and overall performance.
